I love being an orthodontist! It is such a rewarding process to see how much positive change happens when our patients' teeth transform from crowded and crooked teeth to a beautiful smile. Watching our patients develop and grow, gain more self-confidence, and feel better about themselves always makes my day! I truly appreciate the privilege and responsibility parents give me when they entrust their children to my care, and I work hard to do my best for them.
Education and Experience
My education in dentistry and orthodontics has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. In addition to the experience gained over 20 years in practice, I have published articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Before becoming an orthodontist, I received the following degrees:
- Master of Science in Orthodontics, University of Oklahoma
- Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics, Department of Graduate Orthodontics at Oklahoma
- Doctor of Dental Surgery, University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry
- Bachelor of Science in Zoology, University of Oklahoma
I am an active member of several professional associations that provide me with opportunities for continuing education. By regular participation, I am able to stay current with the latest technology and orthodontic treatments. My patients deserve the best, and enhancements to my knowledge and skill allow me to provide them with well founded, scientifically sound treatment that is up to date.

A Commitment to the Community
Outside of the office, my special interests include addressing the issues of community hunger and planting trees to improve the environment. In my spare time, I can be found kite surfing, paddle surfing, running on the beach, and enjoying a variety of water sports. My wife and I enjoy traveling and spending time with friends here on our island home.
